Played this ridiculous game for a few hours. I love getting enjoyment out of things I hardly do anymore. I seem to go in phases with computer/phone games. And work seems to make me wanna zone out afterwards, while using my mind, but not any part of my body, not even fingers moving yarn, at least not for a few hours. Thanks Go-Go Gourmet!!!
And oh yeah(!), during work today, I was able to test drive what will be my new but used car! I'm really excited. I couldn't have been luckier. I've been scouring craigslist ever since I got here to NY for cheap cars. There was one possibility of a $400 '92 owner-proclaimed very reliable Subaru-- no response. Probably too good to be true. Then a $700 GeoTracker, standard transmission-- someone got to it before me. Then a '95 Jeep Cherokee-- same story. There were these, and then also the $850+ not-even-running cars! Many of these! Anyway, one little question I asked of someone here at work led me, 3 degrees separated, to someone who was selling their car. It's a '95 Volvo wagon that has been meticulously cared for and from one of the nicest men on earth who couldn't be more honest. It's a little extra money, but gonna pay for itself in allowing me not to have to walk to the grocery store and back anymore. During these walks I've had the time and space to think about life without fast transportation. Kinda fun. I'm excited. Mine definitely won't be as shiny as this, and does have a few things wrong with it, like no AC, but here it is:
