I made some scallion biscuits for breakfast this morning.


And I found some free shoes yesterday! Brazilian beach shoes I've been informed.



And a little more catch-up. My blog lives it's life in the past.



Broccoli, Cauliflower Pie and an Iced Coffee


Two things I was thankful for.


Rosemary White Bean Soup with Jumbo Croutons & Fresh Basil [recipe by Dreena Burton]. I de-veganized it (:( not necessary, but I wanted a little more tang and creaminess) by adding quark and a sprinkle of Romano, and de-prohibitionized it by adding white wine. Very tasty. Her cookbook, 'eat, drink & be vegan' is very good.


Also, I had the opportunity to go to a piano concert by a man named Romayne Wheeler this weekend, hosted by my work. He has a pretty exceptional story. He played this song by Franz Liszt - Un Sospiro, 'A Sigh,' and I can't get it out of my head.
